Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Musical Directors for our 2025 season and beyond.
Founded in 1972 and composed of 50 professional and amateur musicians, the SCSO is a dynamic ensemble with an established audience base, and a strong culture of musical excellence and inclusivity. The orchestra is backed by an experienced Board, which in the past 5 years has led the orchestra to a strong financial position with a reputation for commissioning new works and attracting high quality solo performers.
The Orchestra rehearses 7-9pm at Stella Maris Primary School in Maroochydore.
We present 4 major concerts a year at The Event Centre Caloundra, attracting 600+ patrons to each event.
