“Masterworks” Symphonic Concert

Photo 1 “Masterworks” was the Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra’s first symphonic concert for 2015.

Dvorak’s Symphony No.8 in G Major gave the listener a taste of all the sections of the orchestra and an appetite for more.  Strings lovers were enchanted by Grieg’s Holberg Suite.

Bernie Hoesman was guest conductor.  Bernie founded and directed The Brisbane Symphonic Band in 1976. He shared the conducting with SCSO conductor, Donna McMahon.
